Wow, this sounds really heartwarming! A recent Facebook post has been circulating on social media after this man, Alex Lee shared the sweet little note his wife had left for him.
In the post along with a photograph of a stack of RM50 notes, his wife’s note said,
“Dear husband, here is RM1,000 from me. Take this money to pay for your vehicle’s maintenance fees. Don’t use your credit card to pay for it, the interest rates are very high. I know you are working hard now for the family, I will support you and be by your side. I love you.”
Aww, so sweet!
Lee said in his post that he was very touched when he saw this proof of his wife’s support and love so he decided to share it on his social media. He wrote, “Recently I’ve been under a lot of pressure and working really hard. This morning when I woke up and saw my wife’s message, I was really touched by her encouraging words, which moved me to tears. My dear wife, I will work hard for our future and give you a better life. Thank you for being there for me!”
After his post went viral, he was amazed by the response he got as he just wanted to share his wife’s love and support to the world. Of course, many people who saw this also praised his wife’s actions. Some netizens started tagging their girlfriends or wives as a “hint” and said he was lucky to have such a wife. #relationshipgoals
In a newer post, Lee, who is a real estate agent and also a social worker, said that sometimes he worked too late until there was no time to accompany his wife. Often, when he arrives home, his wife would already be asleep but no matter what, she gave him unconditional love and support. She even secretly slipped money into his wallet when he was unfortunately retrenched!
Meanwhile, there were some netizens who said that the act of kindness was normal and even expected for a couple to share the financial burden of their lives together but nonetheless, it is still a sweet gesture no matter who does it! Would you do it?
Such a sweet and loving couple!
