Money does make the world go round but that doesn’t mean with wealth, you’re free to do anything you want without considering the feelings of others’.

Local YouTuber Yang Bao Bei, sometimes known as YBB recently shared a screenshot of a conversation with an unknown man who reached out to her via IG. The YouTuber recently purchased a house worth RM575,000 and as a public figure, that will certainly raise a lot of attention. The stranger who reached out to her via IG, however, had some other plans and he was ready to offer a lot of money for YBB.

He expressed his interest in talking about investment with YBB and he was gracious enough to pay her RM500,000 for her time. However, there was one term and condition.

He wanted the conversation to take place in a hotel room. Alone, with YBB.

Well, we all know what that means. Of course, YBB said no and suggested a restaurant instead, where she didn’t need to be alone with the stranger. The persistent man did not stop there and tried to convince the YouTuber with his RM500,000.

“I want to see how you perform first. Do you get it?”

This time, YBB made it clear that no means no.

“You make it sound like I have to sell my body. No thanks. I don’t mind skipping your ‘investment’ talk.”

In the screenshot, YBB vented her anger towards the incident, reminding everyone that being wealthy doesn’t mean you can do anything. She also blocked the person immediately after saying no to him and reminded everyone to be careful of the person.

“I don’t even know if he could really fork out RM500,000.”

It’s “fascinating” to see the kind of people sliding into your DM with weird messages.
