He forced people to eat his food

According to Harian Metro, the local man went berserk and acted aggressively after forcing people at a restaurant in Jitra, Kedah, to eat the food he brought with him.

The incident happened around 10:34PM and involved a 48-year-old man who’s believed to have mental health issues.

Kubang Pasu District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Radzi Abdul Rahim, said they received a report about the man forcing restaurant staff and customers to eat the food he brought along with him.

He will be sent to a psychiatric ward

Mohd Radzi also shared that one of the customers started feeling uncomfortable with the man’s behaviour, which led a restaurant worker to step in.

“The restaurant worker tried to tell the man off. But he suddenly lost it and started acting aggressively. One of the customers immediately called the police, and the suspect was successfully apprehended,” he added.

Investigations revealed that the man has mental health issues and will be referred to the psychiatric ward at Alor Setar Hospital (HSA).
