It’s no secret that there are perverts lurking around the corners of Malaysian streets.
But, have these perverts gotten so brazen that our defense mechanisms are no match for them anymore?
Netizen, Roary, took to her TikTok account to showcase how a motorcyclist had harassed her and flashed his private parts to her while she was walking around Concubine Lane, Ipoh, one morning. What makes this worse is that, despite pepper spraying the man, he continued to harass her.
Roary wrote, “Went to explore Ipoh and this makes me not want to come again.”
It all started when she decided to go for a morning walk at Concubine Lane in Ipoh.
“This guy on a yellow bike kept harassing me and showed off his junk,”
“And I walked to a cafe that had many people because he kept following me, and I had to cancel my walk and book a Grab back to my hotel. I don’t feel safe traveling in my own country,” she shared.
Roary managed to record a video of the motorcyclist who was following and harassing her, though when he noticed this, he decided to hide behind some pillars before using his jacket to cover his number plate while riding away.
In the comment section, Roary also explained that she had pepper sprayed the motorcyclist.
This should have caused him to leave her alone, right? WRONG.
He did initially leave after getting pepper sprayed but he soon apparently came back to continue harassing her. That is when Roary decided to head to the crowded eatery to book a Grab to head back to her hotel for her safety.
While we’ve heard advice against walking at night, we never realise that perverts come out in the mornings as well.
