It’s no secret that Malaysia is filled with men who openly display their indecent thoughts online. But, it’s quite scary to know that a lot of these men are also fathers, especially of young children.
Imagine having to be a babysitter to the kids of one of these fathers.
Malaysian writer Nad Masrom took to her Facebook page to showcase a now-deleted post by one of these fathers, who was tasked to look for a babysitter to his young son. Instead of taking the task seriously, he decided to post images of the babysitters (who are young ladies in their early 20s) he found on an application and shared that it was ‘difficult’ for him to choose one.
He also then told his Facebook friends that if they want to know which application it was to find these girls, they can DM him.
Here’s what he said:
“My wife told me to look for a babysitter for my son. So, I registered at this website. The babysitter needs to be nearby the house. So that it would be easy to arrange, right? Looks and age are not an issue. After putting in the criteria, this is the list that came out.”
“Are these your babysitters, my son? I will send you and pick you up myself, ya? Only now do I know there are all kinds of things, just go and find on Google. Do I proceed or not? It feels wrong. I wanted to look for aunties but there really aren’t any. Mostly aged 20 to 40-years-old. Do you want this website? To find these babysitters? DM me,” he shared.
But wait, that’s not all
In the comments, the father also shared a screenshot of his conversation with one of the babysitters.
“Salam sir, I am a babysitter. Whenever you need a babysitter, Insyaallah, I can help as I will be free,” the babysitter wrote. The website then gave him the option of a video call with the babysitter.
“The part of the video call is what is making me weak,” he wrote.
Others then commented that he would not have to pay her.
“She’s free. Okay la, no need to pay her,” one man responded.
Unable to accept that these young girls can’t even find a job as babysitters without having to deal with these perverted mindsets, Nad shared her disappointment.
Nad wrote, “If the pictures of these young babysitters are my sisters or my child, I will not hesitate to take action. Because, from this information and pictures alone, these independent girls will be harassed by men who cannot use their brains properly.”
“Not all men are like this. I also use this application with my husband to find a babysitter. But, this man joked about perversions and invited other men to pretend to be fathers to be perverts as well, openly in his post. He said that his post was just a joke.”
“It’s a joke, isn’t it? Uploading pictures of people’s young girls and having perverted men leave comments.”
She then turned the tables on him
“If one day, the photo of your daughter is posted by another man who is a father too, how will you feel? Not to mention if it is posted by a pedophile and other pedophiles comment the same way,” she added.
It is truly disheartening and scary to know that Malaysian men, including fathers of young children, can be so perverted.
