A video has been going around online showing a man walking up to a boy who was sleeping alone at a laundromat.
In the clip shared by TikTok user @mohammadhafiq7, he said he always sees the boy sleeping at a laundromat in the Gombak area whenever he goes there once a week.
He had been living alone for 6 months
During one of Hafiq’s recent visits, he finally decided to go up to the boy and talk to him.
Hafiq was hit with emotions as the boy opened up about his heartbreaking story of how his mum had passed away, and his dad was in prison.
“My heart aches hearing this young one’s story. He shared it with tears streaming down his face.”
When asked, the boy shared that he had been living alone for the past 6 months.
The boy had no one to rely on
During the conversation, Hafiq asked the boy if he had any family or siblings who could help him, but the boy said he was all alone.
Hearing his story, Hafiq immediately gave him some money, and the boy wasted no time getting up to buy food.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Hafiq shared his concerns, saying:
“I don’t have any other advice to give, but if this news reaches his relatives, please don’t abandon him like this. Even if his dad is a prisoner, the boy doesn’t know anything. If he’s left on his own, I’m afraid someone might take advantage of him.”
