Malaysian billionaire, Tan Sri T. Ananda Krishnan passed away this morning (November 28). He was 86.
The matter was confirmed by the Malaysian investment holding company, Usaha Tegas Sdn Bhd, in a statement on Thursday.
“With deep sorrow, we wish to announce the news of the passing of our Chairman (Usaha Tegas Sdn Bhd), Ananda Krishnan Tatparanandam.”
The statement, which was shared by Astro Awani also highlighted the late Mr. Krishnan’s immense contributions to the development of the country and the corporate world throughout his lifetime.
Ananda Krishnan also made it into the Forbes 2023 Billionaire List, with a USD5.2 billion or RM22.86 billion in wealth.
