According to Sina, the woman cut off her son’s penis using a pair of scissors because she wanted to take revenge on her ex-husband and his family. Luckily, her ex in-laws discovered what she had done and quickly brought the child over to the hospital to treat his injuries.
The doctor at the hospital in Jiangxi, Fuzhou performed surgery on the poor boy to save his manhood and thankfully, the operation went smoothly. 10 days after the surgery, the local media interviewed the doctor, who reportedly said the toddler is stable and that he can expect to make a full recovery if treatment goes well.

Although doctors said that there would be some issues with the functionality of his penis, he could still father children if his recuperation is good. It was reported that when the boy was admitted to the hospital, his crotch was full of blood.
His grandparents said that they did not understand why his mother had returned to their home after leaving for more than a year.

The boy’s grandmother said, “She has left home for more than a year and even remarried another man.
