Actress Nadia Kesuma, who was reported missing on 15 January, has been confirmed to have left Jeddah Airport in Saudi Arabia.

Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said the confirmation was based on entry and exit records from the country’s Immigration Department, following search efforts by various parties, including the Malaysian Consulate in Saudi Arabia.

Following the incident, the actress’s husband, Prof Muhammad Kamarul Kabilan Abdullah, 57, appealed to the government to mobilise diplomatic efforts with the Saudi Arabian authorities to speed up the search for his wife.
