MISSING: 71yo Man With Amnesia in Penang Disappears After Visiting Coffee Shop Without His Phone

A 71-year-old man who suffers from amnesia has gone missing in Seberang Perai Utara, Penang, after leaving his home alone to visit a local coffee shop.

According to a report by China Press, the man’s daughter, known as Ms Lin, explained that her father left their home at about 1 PM yesterday (29 December) while wearing a red shirt and riding a yellow Honda Wave 125 motorcycle with the registration number PPE 134.

Unfortunately, the elderly man did not take his mobile phone with him, and his family has since lost all contact. His whereabouts are still unknown.

“Besides amnesia, my father also has high blood sugar and high blood pressure, and occasionally does odd jobs.”

 

The elderly man was last seen at the coffee shop

Ms Lin went on to share that people at the coffee shop her father had gone to had provided information that the elderly man had left the shop at around 3 PM.

She said that her family is very worried and has reported the elderly man’s disappearance to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).

She is now seeking the public’s help in locating her father. If anyone has seen the elderly man or has information about his whereabouts, please contact his family at 012-4136189.

 

We sincerely hope that the man is found, safe and sound.
