A sharing by a Malaysian woman venting her frustrations about a pack of cream roll bread she bought caught the attention of netizens recently after she revealed the insides of the bread roll.
Shared by @ayyrynz on TikTok, the 31-second video revealed how the cream roll didn’t properly have the cream spread out inside the bread, but only on a tiny part of the roll.
Roti Krim without much cream
At the start of the video, @ayyrynz showed the cream roll, which is a duo butterscotch and vanilla flavoured, outside of its plastic packaging.
The cream roll is similar to a hotdog bun, as it was split in the middle with the cream supposed to be spread out throughout the inside.
As she was showing the inside of the cream roll, @ayyrynz can be heard saying,
“Look at the insides of the cream roll. Weh, did I get scammed?
“What’s this? Can you please explain? I might as well have bought a plain bread roll.”
A closer look at the cream roll’s insides showed that all of the cream was put on a tiny part of the bread rather than being spread throughout the roll.
In the captions, the woman asserted that even breads are ‘scamming’ nowadays.

Malaysians share their theories on how the cream roll ended up like that
In the comments section, many Malaysians shared their 2 cents on the lack of cream inside the cream roll, with some offering theories on why it happened.
One commenter said that maybe the factory producing the cream roll forgot to spread out the cream, hence why it was only put in a tiny part of the cream roll.
Meanwhile, one commenter urged the woman to email the bread company’s customer service to complain as she might end up getting free bread from them.
Besides that, another commenter joked that maybe the cream roll is lacking in love, that’s why there’s not much cream inside.
There was also a commenter who shared how they previously had it worse by getting a cream roll without any cream inside.
