Businesses and our favourite eateries have undoubtedly been severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic despite the current easing of restrictions. Some of our favourite go to food places have closed down including Suria KLCC’s Rasa Food Arena as well as Mid Valley Megamall’s Yoshinoya.
Another iconic food haven which has sadly closed down is Mid Valley Megamall’s Food Junction. The longstanding food court on level 3 had finally shut its doors for the last time after being badly affected by the pandemic.
When contacted, the management of Mid Valley Megamall told WORLD OF BUZZ that Food Junction has ceased its business here in Mid Valley Megamall.
“There will be a new operator taking over.”
If you have ever dined in at the iconic food court, you’d be well versed with the enormous range of cuisines that it offers. These include crowd favourites such as Japanese, Thai, Korean, Teppanyaki, Yong Tau Foo, Sizzling Hotplate, Chicken Rice, Nasi Kukus, Kopitiam, Nasi Campur, and many more.
A few weeks ago, we noticed that the majority of its tenants were already gone, but unfortunately, the ones that remained seemed to have eventually succumb to the nasty impact of the virus. Now with many of us going back to office, the iconic food court will surely be missed.
