Senior Minister (Security), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, said, as reported by Berita Harian that the implementation of PKP in Pahang will involve Kuantan after the Ministry of Health (MOH) reported a total of 1,578 positive COVID-19 cases with high infection rates in the district.

He said the MOH also confirmed that there was an increase in the number of sporadic cases in the district with 10 active clusters recorded so far.
