How many of us are animal lovers and would do just about anything to keep our beloved pets?
This man definitely loved his little kitten a lot, so much so that he even landed in court over an argument to keep the kitten.
Liew Toh Choon, 30 lives with his 36-year-old sister Mei Yi at Bandar Tasik Selatan. He owned a pet, a little cute kitten that he kept for companionship but his sister wanted the kitten to be outside their house. Why? Kittens are super adorable!
They got into an argument and Toh Choon tried to hit his sister during the altercation. Full of anger, he stormed outside and used an iron rod to damage the headlights on his sister’s car as revenge for kicking his kitten outside the house.
According to the Star, the incident happened at night on 14 April. The magistrate’s court sentenced Toh Choon to a fine of RM1,000 after he entered a guilty plea to the charge of damaging his sister’s car.
DPP Ezrene Zakariah said that his sentence should serve as a lesson to the accused, as he needs to learn how to handle his emotions properly. Maybe he just really loves the kitten?
Toh Choon pleaded for leniency for his sentence, citing the fact that he was currently unemployed.
Poor little kitten, all it wanted was a good home!
