Recently, a netizen who known as Ang took it to social media after he was terribly bitten by his dog. He was unsure if the dog should be put to sleep.

Here’s what he wrote:

“A year ago, I heard his (the dog) howling sound from the crack of a mountain. So, I immediately rushed back to the office and recruited a few people to save him.”

The dog was still a puppy when he was saved by this guy.

“In just a year, I’ve spent more than RM10k on him. He is very energetic and loves to jump up on me. He even waits for me to come home every day.

“Recently, I was very busy with having to move houses. He saw us moving out a lot of the stuff from home and he wanted to follow too.

“I didn’t have time to attend to him, so I tied him up. But he lost his mind and suddenly went berserk and bit me.”

Of course, Ang went to get his wounds treated. The concerned doctor injected him with anti-rabies vaccine just in case. Ang said he needed 4 more injections in the next 2 weeks.

“According to my workers, the dog has been quiet all day which was very unusual.”

“I don’t know how to face him because my friends and relatives recommended me to put him to sleep. But how can I do that to him?

“Maybe he’s blaming himself for biting me? But my relatives said animals don’t think. So what should I do?

“His name is Jacky because I hoped that one day, he could be as bold and fierce as Jacky Chan. But perhaps he has overdone it.

“I went to the shop to find him just now. We shook each other’s hands. I told him:  ‘I was thinking about putting you to sleep just now. But you looked remorseful and there’s tears in your eyes, so I guess I’ll just let it pass.’

“He nodded his head.

“My heart melted when he licked my wound and I almost cried when my daughter took my pictures!”

After his post went viral, many netizens praised Ang for his kindness for not putting Jacky down.

“On behalf of Jacky, I thank you for giving him a second chance,” a netizen wrote.

“Trust me, you will not regret your decision today. Jacky will love you for the rest of his life,” another netizen said.

Jacky, be nice to your master and don’t give him a ‘ruff’ time anymore yea.
