Arguments in a relationship can help in understanding each other if and only if the crisis is navigated wisely. A couple in China, however, got into a fight that involved the damage of a property.

A circulating video on Weibo and Threads recently showed a couple inside a hotel in Hunan, China, where the man tried to jump out the window and failed at the first attempt. The man, however, was persistent and tried again, but his girlfriend tried to stop him from harming himself.

Her attempt was not fruitful.

The man jumped out the window right before his girlfriend’s eyes. Fortunately, the couple was on the first floor of the building, and the man safely landed on the ground after his jump. CCTV footage outside the building showed the man standing up and storming off the premises without his partner.

It is unclear as to what triggered the fight between the couple that took place on April 16 around 1 am.

According to the management of the hotel, the couple has paid compensation for the broken window, and the management decided not to lodge a police report for the matter.

Regardless, we hope the man will learn to control his emotions and not resort to violence when it comes to conflict with his partner.
