Final Destination: Bloodlines is slashing its way into Malaysian theatres on May 15, 2025. Fans who expect gore and violence will be delighted that they are in for a bloody treat.
The film will be uncensored with NO CUTS, as revealed by TGV Cinemas.
With no cuts in Bloodlines, it means unlocking new nightmares for the audiences. If you have caught up with the teaser and official trailers, you might want to brace yourself for the “nose piercing” scene and the one with glass shards hidden within the ice cubes.
We can’t even begin to imagine if the broken glasses with sharp edges were stuck in our throats.
To those who are not familiar, Bloodlines is the 6th instalment in the Final Destination movie series. It began with Final Destination in 2000, followed by 4 sequels in 2003, 2006, 2009, and 2011, respectively.
The movie series returns this May after 14 years of hiatus.
The trademark of Final Destination is, of course, the gruesome death in unimaginable ways. There are no specific killers, however, as the horrific accidents are caused by “Death” itself.
Bloodline revolves around a college student experiencing a recurring nightmare that foretells her family’s demise and decides to return home to find the person who can prevent it.
In case you are wondering if you have to catch up with the previous Final Destination movies, aside from the 2nd movie, which relates to the original film, Final Destination 3 onwards has been standalone movies with a new group of characters who meet their demise in different ways.
However, Bloodlines, as the title suggests, may relate to the previous movies in one way or another.
The late Tony Todd, who plays William Bludworth is the only actor who will return in Bloodlines.
Malaysian audiences who are excited for the “uncut” news urged the cinema ushers to carry out their due diligence and make sure that no parents try to “sneak” their children into the cinema halls.
To those who grew up with the movie series, are you excited for Bloodlines?
