Behind every successful man, there is a supportive woman. In this case, it shows how important it is for us to put down our egos sometimes and take advice from our partners.

A man from Klang recently got himself a fortune simply because he listened to his wife’s advice. According to a statement from the Big Sweep Lottery, the winner, Mr. Cheng (not his real name), who is from Klang has been buying 4D lottery tickets for a long time, and he often bets on his lucky number.

Unfortunately for him, the number that he bet on that day was sold out. That was truly a bummer but little did he know, it didn’t take him long for his luck to change. Thanks to Cheng’s wife who noticed a nearby lottery outlet that was selling Big Sweep lottery tickets, she suggested Cheng try his luck with it.

After numerous failed attempts, we will be demotivated by then, but regardless, Cheng took his wife’s advice and continued to bet on his lucky number.

All it took him to land on the fortune was his wife’s advice. To Cheng’s surprise, the ticket he bought with his lucky number won BIG as the 1st prize in the draw, and he became RM3 million richer.

See? We told you listening to your partner’s advice won’t hurt!

As for Cheng, he admitted that listening to his wife is one of the best decisions he has ever made.

“Listening to my wife’s advice really pays off!”

With RM3 million in hand, many of us would have all kinds of ideas on how to utilise the money. Cheng, however, said that his plan does not include upgrading to a lavish lifestyle or spending on anything fancy. Cheng is giving the money to his wife who will keep them on his behalf.

“I will also use the money to pave way for my children’s future.”

This rare kind of luck does not happen every day, and who knew Cheng had the luck to win big simply because he took his wife’s advice? As for the men out there, this might be a cue for you to seek advice from your other half before making any decision that involves a huge amount of money!
