Not long ago, videos of sellers selling Indomie with eggs and drinks near Tasik Titiwangsa took social media by storm.
Foodies and late-night visitors to the lake shared tons of videos online, like the one we are about to show you, on how to enjoy your very own in KL.
Despite the surge, some are against the upsurge of sellers near Tasik Titiwangsa, citing health concerns and traffic congestion.
In another video uploaded recently, this netizen showed how DBKL took away the makeshift stalls and that he was fortunate enough to be the last person to enjoy Indomie by this particular seller.
Netizens are divided on the issue, with some stating that the act deprives them of another late-night munch spot, while others think that restricting illegal sellers from selling their goods will have a positive impact on the area.
Here are some choice comments from netizens.
“Finally. Now traffic will be much better. What’s wrong is wrong.
“Yes, for those crying foul, it is illegal for you to set up shop in places not meant for food sellers,” said a user.
What say you? Is this a breath of fresh air, or should these sellers be allowed to continue becoming an attraction to Tasik Titiwangsa? Share with us your thoughts in the comments section below.
