Lady Gaga is an iconic artist who remains memorable even when she is not actively making music or films.

Her 8-show Las Vegas residency started on June 19 and will be held up to July 6. This residency features Lady Gaga’s jazz and piano renditions of songs from the Great American Songbook and her own hits.

She was spotted wearing a red sparkly dress with an equally twinkly cape in one of her recent shows. It turns out that the dress designer is our very own Rizman Ruzaini!

Videos of the singer showed that she was belting away and playing the piano when she was wearing this dress. She was said to be performing the song ‘Americano’ with a full band.

Designer Rizman Ruzaini also showed off the designing and making process for the dress in one of his most recent Instagram posts.

We see him sketching the red dress on a tablet, and later on, the dress, whose bling relies on Swarovski crystals, is zipped up.

The sparkle was translated well on stage, where Lady Gaga was pulling everyone’s eyes towards her with the strikingly red, glittering dress and her powerful vocals.

Many Malaysians were extremely proud that a global superstar had chosen to wear a local designer’s dress and had expressed that to Rizman Ruzaini.
