1. Daboba Malaysia
Daboba Malaysia, the famous milk tea chain is likely the first-ever brand to prank us during this year’s April Fool’s day. On 30 March, Daboba Malaysia’s official Facebook introduced the new “Daboba ladies finger smoothie”, which is an ice-blended okra drink topped with sambal belacan that will only be available on the 1st of April.

2. FamilyMart Malaysia
Always in trend, FamilyMart Malaysia of course also took part in pranking us this year. Namely the explosion of rich, savoury and spicy goodness, the Vanilla Sofuto topped with chicken floss and chilli oil sauce is a limited edition and only available on the 1st of April!

Starbucks Malaysia’s April Fool’s drink sounds so plausible, not only that the drink itself looks delicious, but the description almost got us as well!

5. Chagee Malaysia (Bawangchaji)
On 1 April 2022, Bawangchaji, a popular milk tea chain in Malaysia posted a statement on their official Facebook page, saying that the brand will officially come to an end.

However, it was later revealed that the brand did not terminate its service, but rather changed its name and logo. The brand is now called CHAGEE, while its Chinese name “霸王茶姬” still remained the same.
