KWSP Office In Georgetown To Remain Closed Starting 6 Jan After Diagnosed Covid-19 Case
Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja (KWSP) released a statement that their EPF office in Georgetown will be temporarily closed again, starting from 6 January 2021 until further notice.
The office was ordered to close down on the 4 January and 5 January as one of their staff members was diagnosed with Covid-19 on 1 January 2021. It was stated that the office was supposed to be reopened on the 6 January 2021, as reported by 全方位.
However, as followed by the latest statement from KWSP, the sub-office will remain closed for disinfection and deep sanitation under instructions from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
“Members can also go to any EPF branch nearby that is still operating as usual or make transactions for specific services online via i-Account.”
“Practice COVID-19 prevention measures. Prioritize safety because it’s our responsibility together.”
