The office was ordered to close down on the 4 January and 5 January as one of their staff members was diagnosed with Covid-19 on 1 January 2021. It was stated that the office was supposed to be reopened on the 6 January 2021, as reported by 全方位.
However, as followed by the latest statement from KWSP, the sub-office will remain closed for disinfection and deep sanitation under instructions from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
