The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) plays a vital role in helping and protecting the community across Malaysia.

Taking to TikTok, these officers did just that during a recently concluded roadblock during Ops Selamat, when they gave a new helmet to an uncle to increase awareness of road safety.

Known for their dedication and service, and in this case, a bit of empathy, the policemen on duty decided to gift this uncle instead of issuing summons for using an outdated helmet.

“We always see this uncle ride around. What better than to give him the gift of a new helmet for Chinese New Year.”

As you can see, the helmet is quite old as he took it off, with the inside lining no longer able to fit him snuggly.

He was then given a new helmet, leftover from a previous Ops Didik campaign held in Pontian, Johor.

Netizens commended these types of policemen for giving the force a good name.

“…because of officers like this we continue to trust the police.”

Good job guys!
