We all know that e-hailing drivers work long hours to earn their daily income, with some starting early in the morning and continuing late into the night.

Wanting this driver to enjoy a little rest and relaxation with his wife and kids, one thoughtful passenger gave him extra cash so he could head home early.

The driver had travelled from Puncak Alam to Kuala Lumpur, and he lives near Kuala Selangor—a long journey just to make ends meet. So, the passenger decided to do something kind.

“I have a request for you, brother. I want you to go home now. You can stop your trips for the day. Take this money and spend time with your kids. Today, go home and be with your wife and children. You don’t have to work anymore today.”

Realising the man had done a good deed, experienced drivers and riders who saw the video shared their thoughts:

“By the looks of it, this guy can earn up to RM300++ a day. RM150 might not be enough.”

One user said, “I get that people want to make content like this, but I think he deserves more.”

Tipping him RM50 for your ride isn’t enough to cover his expenses for the trip back home,” commented another.

SMH! Still, it’s the thought that counts, right?
