“It took 4 hours & 50 mins” – 90 Explicit Photos, 3 Porn Videos Found in Ebit Lew’s Phone

In the ongoing trial at the Magistrate’s Court, the court was informed that a total of 90 explicit images and 3 pornographic videos were found on the mobile phone registered under the name of the renowned preacher Ebit Lew.

According to reports by Sinar Harian and Astro Awani, this information was revealed by the 8th witness, Inspector Yip Chang Ching, an Analyst from the Crime Computer Forensic Investigation Unit of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), in his testimony at the Tenom Court on Wednesday.

In the main examination conducted by the Deputy Public Prosecutor, Zahidah Zakaria asked Chang Ching to inform the court about his analysis results of the flash drive containing extracted files from the mobile phone.

Chang Ching informed the court that the mobile phone had been registered or used by the individual who registered with the email ebitlew@gmail.com along with two phone numbers.

The 8th prosecution witness mentioned that it took him approximately 4 hours and 50 minutes to open the extracted files for reading using forensic software.

“After opening the files, I dedicated about two days to study and analyse the data in order to retrieve the necessary information as per the guidelines in the analysis form prepared by the investigating officer.”

 

A conviction under Section 509 of the Penal Code could lead to a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison, a fine, or both. The trial before Magistrate Nur Asyraf Zolhani is scheduled to resume tomorrow.
