Taking care of an infant is hard work and as parents out there could attest, things never exactly go as planned.
Take this video that’s currently going viral in Indonesia for example which shows a young father who ended up dozing off first while trying to put his child to sleep.
Shared by the man’s wife, @mauliyasyani on TikTok, the video has garnered over 2.1 million views and more than 176,600 likes as of the time of writing.
Not only did the father’s attempt at putting the baby to sleep fail but as he dozes off, the aim of the baby bottle becomes skewed that he ended up feeding the infant through her ear.
The baby can be seen with a cute confused face during the whole ordeal while staring straight at the mother as if complaining about the father’s actions to her.

In the video’s comments section, many netizens were amused by the infant’s reaction. Some also empathised with the father as they know all too well the struggles of trying to put a baby to sleep.
One commenter jokingly said that the infant is so smart that she could put her father to sleep. Meanwhile, another commenter tried to put to words the baby’s inner thoughts, which according to him sounded something like, “Father, what’s wrong with my ear?”
Besides that, one commenter said that she understands what the father is going through as from her experience, trying to put a baby to sleep is also one of the sleepiest things you can do.
