Last weekend, the nation was shocked by the news about a man who pulled the trigger on his wife at KLIA Terminal 1. The wife, Farah Md Isa dodged the bullet but unfortunately not her bodyguard who sustained major injuries.

It didn’t take long for PDRM to arrest the suspect, who was found in Kelantan and believed to be planning to flee to Mecca.

The suspect, Hafizul Hawari reached the Kota Bharu Magistrate Court in Kelantan today and the 1st thing he had to say upon his arrival was unexpected.

“Assalamualaikum (peace be upon you). I still love my wife, Farah Md Isa. Thank you,” Hafizul expressed his feelings, reported Sinar Harian.

Hafizul reached the court around 8:35 am with a tight police escort to continue his remand. Earlier, the magistrate court ordered Hafizul to be detained for 7 days until Monday (April 22). However, according to Kosmo, the suspect is expected to be remanded for 5 additional days.

The shooting took place at around 1.15 am on April 14, when the shot injured Farah’s bodyguard, who was immediately sent to the hospital for treatment. Just last night, Sin Chew reported that the bodyguard had finally awoken, however, he is remaining in the ICU.
