Entertainer and radio deejay Datuk Aznil Nawawi recently took to social media, sharing a video of what took place when he went to visit Kak Za, a personal shopper who shopped for everyday goods and delivered them to people as her source of income.

Living a life of hardship alongside her differently-abled husband, Pak Nil (Datuk Aznil Nawawi), she was moved to tears knowing that she had to shop for goods at the very last minute because she had no fridge to store her food.

“Sometimes we feel that life is hard on us, but there are others who are not better off,” he shared.

“When everyone around us is busy with our Raya preparations, Kak Za still powers on buying goods for her PS (Personal Shopper) business.”

After witnessing how she operates on her day-to-day schedule with a co-host, the interview that took place afterwards revealed the life Kak Za leads alongside her husband.

Pak Nil asked why she herself did not buy goods for Raya to which she answered, “I will buy it at the very last minute because I don’t have a fridge at home.”

Moved, Pak Nil wanted to treat her to a new fridge and called her husband, Farhan, to tell him about the good news.

“It is a coincidence that Kak Za met me today. I heard your story, and I want to treat your family to a fridge,” he said.

Netizens commenting on the video had this to say.

“Kak Za would sometimes walk from office to office, finding work cleaning offices to look after her husband. May God repay your good deeds, Pak Nil.”

“I can’t imagine living her life and still smiling. Thank you, Pak Nil, you made her Raya beautiful,” shared a user.

At a time when we are more compelled to look after ourselves, it is always heartwarming to see that there are those out there who strive to make the lives of others that much easier.
