A tragic accident recently claimed the life of a motorcyclist and left a car driver injured after a tree collapsed onto their vehicles along Jalan Tun Razak–Ayer Keroh near Pangsapuri Polis Temenggong Taman Sentosa, Melaka on Saturday (6 December).
The incident occurred around 2:30 PM when the victims were traveling along the road before the tree fell, crushing a Yamaha Y15ZR motorcycle and a Perodua Myvi.

He was working two jobs to save money for his wedding
The motorcyclist, Muhammad Izzat Daanish Sharil, 22, died at the scene from severe head injuries. His sister, Izzaty Hamidah Sharil, 27, shared that her brother had been working two jobs to save money for his wedding planned for December next year.
“He worked hard to save for his marriage and was delivering food when the tree fell on him. Just last month, he completed his marriage preparation course,” she said, adding that he had recently celebrated his birthday on 29 November, a memory she will cherish forever.
“I never imagined he would die in such an incident. He was my only brother,” she said tearfully.
The funeral was held at Bukit Lintang Muslim Cemetery around midnight.
Meanwhile, the car driver, a 19-year-old woman, sustained injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

According to JBPM Melaka Public Relations Officer Senior Fire Superintendent II Mohd Hafidzatullah Rashid, an emergency call was received via MERS 999, and a team of eight firefighters from the Ayer Keroh Fire and Rescue Station was deployed.
“Firefighters rescued the victims and cleared the fallen tree. The operation, assisted by KKM, PDRM, and MBMB, concluded at 3:18 PM,” he said.
