This is a pretty big deal because this makes him the first Southeast Asian comedian to have a stand-up special on the international streaming service, and we couldn’t be happier for him!

Of course, as soon as the news broke, loads of Malaysians immediately began flooding his post with nothing but love and words of congratulations.

It’s so amazing to see a home-grown Malaysian talent make it big on the international stage, and getting a Netflix special is definitely a game-changer. What’s more, his stand-up special will be available for Netflix users around the world! Congratulations, Harith! You definitely deserve this special!

For those of you who already have a Netflix account and would like to check it out, “I Told You So” comes out on the platform next Saturday (19th of January).

Support local y’all! 🙂
