The beauty of some highways in Malaysia is truly irresistible and sometimes, it calls for the need to capture their mesmerising scenery.
Recently, a netizen shared his car’s dashcam footage on the Facebook group DashCam Owners Malaysia and the video shows a bike rider being unhappy with him.
The incident in the video took place on Temiang-Pantai Highway in Negeri Sembilan. The Highway, also known as the Malaysian Federal Route 366 has been dubbed the “New Zealand in Malaysia” for its greenery.
So, the need to grace your Instagram & other social media pages with the view is understandable, but NOT when you put yourself and other road users in danger.
In the 10-second video, the driver can be heard honking at the rider in black who stood at the side of the driver’s lane in order to alert him. Unfortunately, the reminder was not responded to with gratitude.
The rider was unhappy, so he decided to arrogantly hit the car with the helmet in his hand. The driver ignored it and drove forward instead.
“This is not a recreational park or your auntie’s open house. I don’t mind if you’re taking photos but there’s a limit to everything”, the driver said.

“I would’ve turned back, bro”
The video that was shared yesterday (29 May) has gained the attention of fellow Malaysians and most of them expressed their anger toward the irresponsible and entitled rider.
Some have also done their part to report the incident to the authorities by tagging PDRM in the comment section.
“Rude. He’s at fault and still has the audacity to hit the car.”
“This is what we call stupid and unreachable. Only an accident can teach them a lesson.”
“He’s brave because the ladies and his gang are there.”
“I would’ve turned back, bro. He had the guts because he was showing off to the ladies. If you turned back, I’m 100% certain he would’ve lost his balls.”
It’s not wrong to take some pictures of the beautiful view but it’s definitely NOT okay if your parked vehicles, including yourself trouble and endanger the other road users.
Back in January, PDRM had also reminded the road users that anyone who stops on the emergency lanes at Temiang-Pantai highway will be issued a summon.
Be safe and be responsible.
