Taking place at the Sibu night market in Sarawak, a group of concerned Sarawakians circled a drug addict who has been using a kid to help her get money to purchase drugs.

Mobbed by an angry group of people, the whole scene was caught on video.

Viewer discretion is advised when viewing the video.

Shared by Facebook page Kuching.Indah, its status writes, “A kid was caught begging for a drug addict and the hard-earned money he received was taken away for the benefit of the drug addict.”

The kid witnessed to be wearing a red t-shirt was clearly the victim of the drug addict, who is seen jabbering away in Iban, trying to weasel her way out of the situation.

Clearly, netizens commended the group of people for a job well done in stopping this apparent criminal act.

The status adds, “The child was then brought to the Sibu Police Station to locate his parents.”

As Malaysians, surely we’ve had our fair share of seeing kids being exploited by adults for their own personal gain. Let’s put a stop to this and do our part by calling them out and bringing them to the authorities for further action.
