As we all know, Halloween has somehow become a celebration for Malaysians too and our costumes can be really scary thanks to our local lineup of ghosts like Toyol, Pontianak and Hantu Raya. Surely enough for one e-hailing driver, on the night of Halloween, he was hailed by a Pontianak.

Well, it was not a real Pontianak. It was just @Maheyheyx in her Pontianak costume. Instead of cancelling the ride, the driver decided to use the moment to play a prank on his beloved wife.

After devising his plan with the “Pontianak”, he went on to video call the wife. He told her:

“My trip got cancelled.”

From the video, the wife immediately looked away from the camera as soon as she noticed the “Pontianak” in the back seat. She even asked what’s behind you which he replied nothing was behind him, he was just irritated that two passengers have cancelled their rides. He even told her that she was only seeing things.

Watch the full video here:

Kudos to the driver who is sempoi enough to come out with this plan but we pity the wife for having to experience the prank call. We are sure your husband loves you very much and no Pontianak can stop him from doing so.
