The most wonderful time of the year is here and with it comes a host of shopping deals for Malaysians to splurge on! Sadly though, not many of us are a ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ who can afford all of the coolest gadgets in the market such as the latest iPhone XS. So, if you’re looking to reward yourself for accomplishing all of your 2018 New Year Resolutions — but you’re broke beyond belief — then we have some exciting news for you peeps: You can own a brand new iPhone XS for zilch this December. Yes, it’s true! And no you don’t have to sacrifice a kidney!

That’s because from now till 25th December 2018, you can stand a chance to win a brand new iPhone XS and earn up to 20x GrabRewards points!

How, you ask?!

All just by using GrabPay Credits for everyday purchases such as booking Grab rides, GrabFood deliveries, prepaid top-ups, and making in-store GrabPay payments.

In case you didn’t know already, GrabPay allows you to use your phones to complete everyday purchases such as Grab rides, prepaid top-ups, GrabFood deliveries, and in-store payments without needing to carry any cash around. That’s so convenient!

What’s even more exciting is that Grab has a wide-range of partner merchants across the country which includes food merchants we know and love too, such as:

So, if you visit these food stores on a daily basis and are a frequent user of other Grab services, here’s how you can win a brand new iPhone XS just by using GrabPay Credits as payment.

How to win:

  1. Pay using GrabPay Credits at least twice with a minimum transaction value of RM5.
  2. Users will have to use GrabPay for two different Grab services during the campaign period. (E.g.: GrabFood + In-store payments, GrabFood + Prepaid top-up, Grab Rides + In-store payment, etc.)
  3. Combining two of the same Grab service is not eligible as an entry (i.e. Prepaid top-up + Prepaid top-up, GrabFood + GrabFood, In-store payment + In-store payment, etc).
  4. If you are the 10,000th valid transaction, Grab will release a trivia question to you and upon successfully answering the question, you will be announced as one of the winners (This process will continue for every 10,000 transactions as there are 30 units of iPhones up for grabs).
  5. Winners of the contest will be announced via email on the 28th of December 2018.

To put things into perspective, all you need to do is use two different Grab services during the campaign period to stand a chance to win. For example, if you were to book a Grab Ride home from work and order a meal from McDonald’s for dinner via GrabFood during the campaign, you’d be in the running to win an iPhone XS.

Alternatively, you can also purchase prepaid top-ups using GrabPay and make an in-store GrabPay payment at one of Grab’s partner merchants, to qualify for the contest

Simply put, the more you use GrabPay Credits during the campaign period, the higher your chance of winning would be. So, what are you waiting for?! The competition ends on 25th December 2018 and only 30 iPhone XS are up for grabs!

We don’t know about you guys but the thought of not having to carry a bulky wallet around while being rewarded by conveniently using our phones for payments has got us pretty excited.

Amazing right? Okay lah, at least now we know how to score a new phone before the year ends. More information on Grab’s iPhone contest can be found on their website here.

Don’t say we never inform you ah!
