Most of the time, many of us assume that cleaners at restaurants don’t earn that much. However, this is possibly one of the best situations for us to tell you, never judge a book by its cover.

Recently in China, a dishwashing lady at a restaurant was spotted being dropped off at her workplace in a Bentley.

According to a short clip posted on Chinese media, the woman’s daughter drops her off at her workplace in a Bentley and fetches her home every day. In the clip, she is seen coming out of the car in her apron and rubber boots, looking excited to start her shift.

In case you think the dishwashing lady is lacking in money, we can assure you that’s not the case, as she’s only lacking in things to do to fill up her free time.

And that’s why she’s there cleaning dishes.

“No dishes to wash today? That’s boring”

Wealth is undeniably the woman’s secret, but despite having her secret exposed, that did not stop her from coming to work. Sure, she gets paid but the monthly wages aren’t really why she’s there washing dishes.

The woman just wants something to do, and she decided that dishwashing is what she’ll do to kill boredom. China Times reported that the woman will easily feel bored at home even if she’s not washing dishes for only a day.

“I feel bored and uncomfortable if I don’t wash dishes for 1 day,” the woman admitted.

Her job scope is not only limited to dishwashing but also cleaning the restaurant. We guess as long as it keeps her occupied, the workload wouldn’t be an issue for her.

It was also reported that her daughter initially did not want her mother to go out and work anymore, but she couldn’t stop her mother from fulfilling her dream to “experience life”. Eventually, the daughter decided to show support to her mother by sending her to work and picking her up when she finishes her shift.

We truly don’t know how wealthy can a person be, and it’s a big mistake to judge them just by looking at one’s attire. Do you see yourself passing time by working as a dishwasher after your retirement?
