It is almost the end of 2024, yet there are still Malaysians who do not understand that you CANNOT park in designated areas unless you are a PwD yourself.

Taking to TikTok, netizen @herry.30 shared a video of how irresponsible drivers took up designated parking spots for the differently-abled, denying him the accessibility he needed at the time.

“I am on my way to enter this supermarket, but all the parking spaces meant for drivers like me, have been taken up by these two individuals,” he shared.

“Sadly, none of them are PwDs. As you can see these are designated parking spaces, but I can’t park my car.”

Netizens, taking to the video, had this to say.

“It is best to report this to security and ask them to make announcements asking them to move their vehicles.”

“Some cars are owned by PwD drivers, but most don’t use PwD stickers on their cars,” commented another user.

Whatever the reason, let’s hope that we are all mindful of each other in the future.
