By now, you’ve probably heard of the infamous ‘Datuk Seri’ who shot to fame about 2 years ago as he was all over the news headlines for injuring 3 RELA members.
This time around, Datuk Seri Lew Soon Hee – who allegedly became a millionaire when he was 24 years old and is a gang member – is in the spotlight once again as local police have been looking for him as they believe he was involved in a big fight that transpired in Scott Garden on 3 May. The cops also believe that he may be the mastermind behind this fight.
According to investigations, the motive behind the fight was believed to be “jealousy over a woman” and in the 9.20pm incident, 60 men armed with wooden sticks and iron bars reportedly trashed the place, resulting in damages worth RM200,000. Yikes!
Now, in recent developments, the notorious Datuk Seri has surrendered himself to police to aid the Scott Garden investigations. He turned himself in at about 3pm on Friday (17 May) at the Brickfields police HQ, The Star reported. City Deputy CID chief Asst Comm Alzafny Ahmad was quoted by the daily as saying,
“We took his statement and interrogated him before releasing him on bail. This brings the total number of arrests in connection with the case to 15.”
“We are still tracking down several other witnesses and suspects connected to this case,” he added.
In total, the police are looking for four suspects who may be connected to the case; this includes Datuk Liew. Meanwhile, some suspects have allegedly said that a fight also took place at a pub in Cheras prior to the fight at Scott Garden.
Besides Datuk Liew surrendering himself, another bodyguard had turned himself in as well.
