Taking place at a beauty spa in Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan, a netizen shared a story about a customer who ran off without paying for her treatment.

In the video, recorded last Tuesday around 5:20 pm, the customer left the premises after claiming she had left her money in the car.

In the post shared by the owner, they wrote, “I urge all spa owners to be wary of this customer. Request payment upfront instead of accepting it after the treatment.”

“Last Tuesday, this customer came in for a treatment. After the session, she said the remainder of her money was in the car. She went out to fetch it, but instead started her car and drove off without paying.”

“She hasn’t returned our calls or responded to our WhatsApp messages, even though she’s read them.”

She explained, “We’ve given her many chances to settle the payment, but to this day, she has yet to respond. I’ve decided not to pursue the matter further and posted this video to educate other spa owners.”

Netizens commenting on the video had this to say:

“If you don’t have the money, don’t go for a spa day. Stay home and press powder on your face.”

“Business owners face so many hurdles these days. I was once handed a fake RM100 note,” said a user.

We sincerely hope business owners will be more vigilant in the future, especially when dealing with individuals who may try to take advantage of them for personal gain.
