We often see customers surprising food riders with special requests, such as buying medicine, buying food for the riders themselves. There was even a customer who told the rider to break his fast before delivering the food.

Most recently, this Singaporean GrabFood rider received a rather peculiar request.

In a recent Facebook post, Brandon Ng shared how a customer made a special request by asking him to leave the food at the door. However, the customer also asked if he could help put their pet chicken along the corridor back into its cage as they were afraid a cat might eat it.

Customer had some weird request. didn't expect there will really be a chicken ? lol wtf

The request read: “Please leave the food at the gate will do btw if u see a chicken running around outside, plz help me put it back in the cage for me yea later the cat eat.thx.”

In his post, Ng also attached a photo of him and the chicken.

There was no mention as to whether he put the chicken back in its cage. However, by looks of it, he probably did. The cat was nowhere to be seen.

We can always count on our food delivery riders to meet our every request…no matter how weird those requests may be! What’s the strangest thing you’ve asked your abang rider to do for you?
