Instances like these are what make us proud to be Malaysians!

With Malaysian Muslims enduring the Ramadhan month, it’s refreshing to see Malaysians being tolerant and respectful among each other. One group of people who definitely deserve to be treated with kindness are our food delivery riders who are still working round the clock despite fasting and making sure orders are delivered.

Among them is Dinnie Norman who shared how a kind customer told him to eat first before delivering orders. Dinnie was touched by her actions as she understood the struggles of a fasting rider despite not being a Muslim herself.

“You can come after breaking your fast, it’s not a problem for me. Make sure you break your fast first.”

Even after Dinie said that he’ll just have a drink first and deliver her order as the food would get cold, the customer still insisted that he eat first before delivering her order.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Dinnie said the customer is a fine example of how caring Malaysians from different races can be. The customer also gave him a chance as he is not a motorcycle rider but instead a pedestrian FoodPanda delivery rider. “This is the first time I’m encountering such a customer and she really touched my heart,” he said.

Malaysians in the comment praised the customer for being kind and patient while understanding Dinnie’s situation. They also wished more there were more Malaysian customers like her!
