Recently, the life of a 40-year-old construction worker from Thailand did a complete 180 when he learned that he was the first prize winner of a government lottery.
On February 1, Detnarong Tembab, hailing from Tambon Wangnua, struck gold when he bagged the first prize of THB 12 million (approx RM1.57 million), The Nation reported.
According to Detnarong, the winning number came to him in a dream one night in which his younger brother told him the number “134”.
To his surprise, he found two tickets ending with the same numbers he dreamt of when he went to a market in the Ngaw district to buy the lottery ticket, The Star reported.
He ended up buying both tickets and became a millionaire overnight when the winning number “967134” was announced on Friday.
According to The Nation, he plans on using his winnings to build a house for his mother in addition to looking into business opportunities. How sweet!
We wish him all the best in his future undertakings and may his newfound fortune pave the way to a better life ahead.
