There’s nothing worse than going to the dentist to get your tooth fixed, only for it to cause you even more problems afterwards! The process of getting your crown fitted is already uncomfortable enough, imagine having to go through it all over again.

@sairahayati took to TikTok to share her emergency dental experience in Kuala Lumpur after her tooth broke shortly after getting a dental crown fitted by a private dentist in the UK.

“Next level dentistry!”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ,  Saira revealed that she had to pay RM2,900 for her crown to be fitted at a private dentist in 2021, after it fell out while she was eating.

She mentioned that at the time of the incident, she was coincidentally living in KL for work. Following the incident, a friend who had been living in KL for 2 years recommended a specific dentist to her.

“I walked into the dental office and was seen within minutes by a lovely, informative professor. After conducting a thorough check-up, she explained everything that had happened.”

She was so impressed!

Saira went on to express how deeply impressed she was by the KL dentistry’s technology, expertise, and efficiency in fixing her tooth.

She then revealed that her dentist in the UK had managed to save the tooth from a root canal by using a crown. However, due to the way her bite lay, she had to switch from porcelain to zirconia.

She’s happy with the results

In the video, Saira explained how the KL dentist had cemented the crown back because she was not able to use the existing crown long-term it was only a temporary fix, and it only costed her RM150.

“I’m going to have to face the dentist back in London to ask them how could something like this happen especially since zarconia tooth shouldn’t come out and neither should it crack like that.”

During her visit to the KL dentist, she explained that her problem was resolved within minutes. This was particularly important as she had an upcoming event to host and needed to be able to speak clearly.

@sairahayati

Just to give you a little bit of a backstory. I had this crown fitted in 2021 during Covid. My tooth broke and the dentist was private. He managed to save the tooth from root canal with a crown but due to the way that my bite lays we had to switch from porcelain to Zonia. Zirconia is meant to be the strongest tooth crown however due to the bite not setting correctly he had to shave down. That explains now why this crown broke. The dentist here cemented the crown back because I was not able to use the existing crown long-term it was only a temporary fix. #Dentist #Malaysia #KL #Money #London #Experience #Professional #Malaysian #MalaysiaChinese #Technology #Advanced #NextLevel #FYP
