Malaysia’s Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar and his delegation are being called out after they posted a now-deleted photo of themselves on the Attorney-General’s Chambers’ social media pages, standing in front of the Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill during a work trip to join Minister of Law and Institutional Reform Azalina Othman’s delegation for important meetings there.
Netizen Aisehman took to his X page to question the post, including their choice of clothing and accommodations.

He wrote, “What’s with the baker boys? You’re Peaky Blinders, is it? Does the AGC think that posting this sort of picture on its official social media account will do wonders for enhancing credibility and trustworthiness among the public?”
“Hyatt Regency Churchill is a luxury hotel. The AGC is funded by the Federal budget.”
“No, I don’t expect the AG to stay in a backpacker’s hostel but like I said, who in their right mind at the AGC thought it would be a good idea to post this picture?”

He also clarified that the deleted post was re-uploaded on the Attorney-General Chambers’ social media pages before it was deleted again.
“Swag posting?”
Many echoed his sentiment, questioning the Attorney-General Chambers’ choice to post the photo and calling the delegation out for having more consideration for ‘swagger’. One netizen even pointed out how one night at the hotel costs at least RM1,800.

“Imagine the AGC of Singapore posting this. Embarrassing.”

WORLD OF BUZZ has since reached out to the Attorney-General’s Chambers for comment, but has yet to hear back.
