Marjorie Taylor Greene, a US Congresswoman, was chosen to lead a House subcommittee to address government waste of taxpayer money under Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy’s new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) agenda in the States.

Taking to her X page, Greene showcased a clip of herself during an interview with Fox News where she explained what government waste means, and mentioned that some of that waste is allegedly being used to fund “sex apps” in Malaysia.

During her interview, she said, “(Government waste is) all over, every single government department, program, grant programs, contracts, it is everywhere. And so when we look into a deep dive into this massive problem that’s caused America to be 36 trillion dollars in debt, we’re going to have to go into all kinds of buckets.”

“And that’s how I’ll be separating things on the oversight subcommittee on DOGE. We’ll be looking at everything from government-funded media programs like NPR, that spread nothing but Democrat propaganda. We’ll be going into grant programs that fund things like sex apps in Malaysia, toilets in Africa, all kinds of programs that don’t help the American people.”

Does the app(s) actually exist?

According to the US-based platform, Jezebel, the Malaysian “sex app” Greene is allegedly referring to JomCare, a harm reduction application created by Professor Roman Shrestha from the University of Connecticut, using a $3.4 million (RM15,181,000) grant from the National Institutes of Health.

This application allegedly provides access to education and resources to help reduce the spread of HIV and STDs among gay and bisexual men.

Today reported that Shrestha will collaborate with professionals from Yale University, the University of Michigan, the University of Texas at Tyler and the University of Malaya in Malaysia to develop and implement an application.

However, after a quick check online and in application stores, we only found the JomCARE app, which is a one-stop centre for eldercare professionals.
