They say confidence is key, and this Malaysian Foodpanda delivery rider once again demonstrated that with confidence, you can get yourself anywhere.
After casually dancing beside Tan Sri Vincent Tan in Bukit Bintang earlier this month, the viral Foodpanda rider is back this time by “crashing” into an event where a ribbon-cutting ceremony was taking place. He shared a 1-minute clip of him “invading” the event, saying,
“How can I be excluded from such an event?”
The rider, commonly known as Emy went through the crowd as if he was late for the show and made it to the front, and the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of a coffee shop was just about to take place. Coincidentally, the mayor was also there for the ceremony and Emy casually told him,
“I have to be included in such an event. We’re both important people, Dato!”
The Mayor, who looked clueless went with the flow, and together with Emy, both of them eventually cut the ribbon together. Everyone at the scene, including the media friends watched and took photos.
Emy then laughed and walked away from the ceremony with one of the ribbons in his hand.
Staged or real?
Staged or real? – This question remains a debate in the comment section as Emy leaves that question unanswered but netizens were more surprised by his confidence everywhere, as if dancing in front of Tan Sri Vincent Tan and patting his shoulder like an old friend weren’t enough.
“This is just the Mayor. He danced in front of Dato Vincent Tan.”
“You’re a different level of influencer. Tan Sri Vincent Tan, the Mayor.”
“Who are you, exactly? You crash all events just like that.”
Emy jokingly responded to the comment above and said “he’s not someone ordinary.”
“Where did you buy your confidence from?”
You can watch the viral clip below and perhaps wonder where he got his confidence.
