Unless you’ve been MIA from the internet for the past 4 years, you’ve probably heard about Carousell. It’s similar to other online shopping apps like Shopee and Mudah.my. With thousands of listings, you can shockingly find even the oddest stuff there.

Top 10 Things You Won't Believe Malaysians Are Selling On Carousell - World Of Buzz 2

Don’t believe us? Take a look at some of the items we found!

1. A Rapid KL ticket

Someone is literally selling a ticket that you essentially get for free at the Rapid KL line. Her reason for selling this item is so that you won’t have to wait long if you had this ticket.

Well, we can’t argue with that logic I guess. So if you hate waiting in line, be sure to check out Carousell to see if you could bypass the queue.

2. Brand plastic bags

Yup, plastic or paper bags from high end or popular outlets. Perfect for those that want to walk around holding a branded bag, but don’t have the cha-ching to buy it from the store itself. Or perhaps this is an upcoming trend?

Some of these bags even cost more than RM10, and more surprisingly, you can see that people ACTUALLY buy these things. Honestly, if you’re willing to throw money on high end plastic bags, you’re probably better off saving your money for that high end item instead.

3. A train map you can get for free

The person said the map is useful or those that wanted to go to London. He didn’t bother to mention that the map is available online and on site for absolutely zero ringgit.

Oh well, let this be a lesson to all users to always do their homework before purchasing anything.

4. Snake Skin

Honestly, we’re just as confused as you are. What on earth can you do with a piece of snake skin? Also, according to the title, it can be used for ‘manhood enhancing’ purposes. What on earth???

On second thought, we rather not find out. It costs RM999,999,999,999.99 anyway! I’m sure someone will totally buy that soon enough 😉

5. A boyfriend

With just RM300 or less (the seller is open for negotiations) you can get your very own pet boyfriend.

He is apparently second hand, (like whut), but is in tip top condition, and can find his own food, just like a street wise alley cat. I think a more suitable term for this dude is, pre-loved.

Out of pure curiosity, one of our writers reached out to the seller to negotiate about the price of the product, aka her new potential boyfriend. This is the response she got:

So apparently you can get a discount, and this boyfriend doesn’t have any defects at all – 100% loyal.

6. Ghostbuster Soap

That’s essentially what it is: a 150ml bottle of body soap that removes dirt and bad spirits as well. How convenient! You can now be squeaky clean and ghost free at the same time.

Jokes aside, we’re actually slightly intrigued with this item. After all, the bathroom’s one of the most haunted spots in any horror movie yeah?

7. Black magic book

If you purchase this book, there’s only two possible outcomes; One, you become the greatest dark sorcerer in the whole of Malaysia, casting spells left and right and wrecking havoc everywhere. Two, you get hoodwinked out of RM150 for a book filled with nonsense. Honestly though? It’s probably the latter.

8. DVD on how to hypnotise people

This DVD boasts of teaching you the ability to hypnotise people and avoid being hypnotised. Disturbing no doubt, but note that the dealer promotes his item by saying that you should definitely get the DVD if you love your family and yourself.

I think we love ourselves and our family well enough to not spend a whooping RM300 on that. So yeah, no thanks.

9. All kinds of amulets

And we mean ALL kinds. There are seemingly harmless ones that promote good health, luck and prosperity. However, there are also ones that is apparently for causing extreme bad luck and harm to your enemies. Yikes!
