I’m sure that a Coldplay concert is on a lot of people’s bucket lists.

As they have been to quite a few places in South East Asia but never Malaysia, this is quite a big deal.

In mid-April 2023, event manager and artist manager, Nur Iman Tang, posted on his Instagram account asking Malaysians to urge PM Anwar to support bringing Coldplay to Malaysia as there is hearsay that they might be performing in Indonesia.

Many people were excited about the possibility of this concert taking place and have been waiting for updates with bated breaths.

On 5 May, Iman Tang uploaded a video that was recorded at the crosswalk near Pavillion Bukit Bintang. The centre of attraction in that clip is definitely the ad that was playing on the screen.

The ad says: Coldplay Music of the Spheres World Tour 2023.

There were no mentions of Malaysia in the ad but Iman Tang said in the captions that the “rumours are over.”

“Finally the rumours are over! Get Ready Guys in NOVEMBER 2023!! Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ??”

Many netizens were very excited by this announcement and kept asking when the tickets will be sold.
