Budget Hotel Operator Gets Assaulted For Entering a Customer’s Room Without Permission

Sometimes, we think that our actions are not a big deal, however, others could take major offence by it.

For example, this budget hotel operator who thought it was a good idea to barge into his customer’s room without consent, and proceeded to get assaulted by 3 men for doing so.

In the incident which occurred at 3:30am yesterday (October 10) in Taman Desa Cemerlang, Johor, the 62-year-old victim allegedly entered a customer’s room without permission.

As a result, he was beaten up by 3 men and splashed with paint.

Seri Alam District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said that the victim was attacked on the road in front of the hotel.

He said that the victim who suffered minor injuries later lodged a police report, which saw 3 men being arrested.

In a video of the incident that has been circulating online, the victim can be seen sitting on the road whilst being covered in paint.

“The results of the initial investigation found that the suspect assaulted the victim because he had entered his customer’s room without permission,” he said in a statement.

According to Mohd Sohaimi, a team of members from the Criminal Investigation Division of Seri Alam District Police Headquarters (IPD) and Desa Cemerlang Police Station made 2 arrests based on information received.

He said the first arrest involved a 52-year-old man in Jalan Tanjong, Taman Desa Cemerlang at 11:30pm the same day.

While the second arrest was made on 2 local men aged 31 and 55 at Jalan Persisiran Seri Alam, Masai.

“The result of a review of past records found that one of the suspects has a past criminal record. All suspects were remanded for 4 days starting today,” he said, adding that the case was investigated according to Section 147 of the Penal Code.

Kesemua suspek direman empat hari bermula hari ini," katanya kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 147 Kanun Keseksaan.Katanya, polis turut mengesan satu video tular berdurasi 1 minit 44 saat yang merakamkan kejadian itu berlaku di hadapan hotel berkenaan.
