In a recent post by Sai Banu D, she told the story of how she was in Damansara Uptown when she spotted an old man selling soft toys:

Old Uncle

I never buy soft toys for my kids, but it was a total new story for me. My daughter spotted this uncle walking in hot sun and she told me, mummy look at the uncle pity him. He is old carrying lots of toys and walking in the sun. Can we buy something from him? I turn and looked at him and immediately I said OK lets go and buy. She chose a soft toy and I asked him, “uncle you been doing this long?”

He said “yes, I use this money to support my son education and also chemo treatment for me. My son scored 9As in SPM and now he is doing A levels in HELP.” My jaw just dropped. He said, “I’m earning money from a good way and that’s why God is sending people like your daughter to buy from me.”

Friends whenever you are around Damansara Uptown, please support him.

Since her post, many responded with positive comments, some even having met the old man himself.

After reading her story, one really couldn’t help but to jump into their car and ride off to DU just to find this uncle! I’ll definitely be paying him a visit very very soon!
